Ted Lindsay Celebrity Golf Outing
The 175 golfers who participated in the Ted Lindsay Foundation Celebrity Golf Outing at the Detroit Golf Club were joined by another 115 for cocktails, a silent auction ($14,000) and dinner following play. The program that followed Fr. Donald Worthy’s tribute to the memory of Joanne Lindsay and Dr. Jack Finley was emceed with good humor by Mickey Redmond and Ken Daniels. It had highlights. Austin, TX researcher Laura Hewitson, PhD. reported promise of early blood biomarkers for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Art event to feature paintings by local artist Weatherly Stroh, Presented by: Studio D in partnership with the Michigan Humane Society.
To celebrate Weatherly Stroh and her art while bringing awareness to animal welfare in the community.
In addition to Stroh's beautifully intricate works, this event will also feature hors d'oeuvres, wine and music. Robert Dempster, founder of Studio D, is generously hosting this incredible event, as well as providing entertainment for the evening. Donations are appreciated and 100% of the proceeds will go towards caring for the tens of thousands of animals that come to MHS every year.
